Easy Microwave Hollandaise

Honestly the easiest and quickest way to make a Hollandaise.

  • Β½ cup butter melted
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice to taste
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • pinch of white pepper
  • Salt to taste


  • Melt the butter and make sure that it is HOT.
  • In a tall container, blend the yolks, lemon juice and mustard. While continuously blending, add a little of the melted butter at a time. Check that it is emulsified before adding more.
  • Once the emulsion is established, add the butter in a steady stream. If the sauce is too thin, warm it in the microwave for a few seconds at a time, mixing well in between to avoid lumps.
  • Check the seasoning of the sauce and serve while warm.
