Easy Microwave Hollandaise
Honestly the easiest and quickest way to make a Hollandaise.
Hollandaise Sauce
Serve with Eggs benedict or steamed asparagus
Ingredients
- Β½ cup butter melted
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp lemon juice to taste
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- pinch of white pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Melt the butter and make sure that it is HOT.
- In a tall container, blend the yolks, lemon juice and mustard. While continuously blending, add a little of the melted butter at a time. Check that it is emulsified before adding more.
- Once the emulsion is established, add the butter in a steady stream. If the sauce is too thin, warm it in the microwave for a few seconds at a time, mixing well in between to avoid lumps.
- Check the seasoning of the sauce and serve while warm.
